The best pizza (with vegan cheese) you get at Vinnie's Pizza (http://supervegan.com/r.php?id=337) in Williamsburg. There are lots of other good restaurants in Bedford Ave., too.
But you can find something vegan in every corner of the city! also try the buffet at the Whole Foods Markets (e.g. at Union Square/14th St.), the vegan stuff is labeled. AND you can get icecream there ;)

cucumber and pickles sushi rolls! those are what i choose at sushi restaurant.
have you tried or heard of "yuba"? they're made from soy beans. i love them.
i know tofu is quite easy to get in western countries but i wonder about yuba...
well, i'm looking for sharing our stories and info with you :)
