How long are you going for? It's amazing! You can bring your own food... you'll have to!

That's what I brought with me for 2 months in Iceland. Bring your own food, or prepare to live off of gas station popcorn and the odd salad bar;) It's going to be very cold in September.. prepare for that too!

   I´m just going to stay a week :( . I love the cool...I´m from Lisboa and we´re almost a tropical city...so.

You'll love it!! Try to check out Hveragerdi, it's pretty close to Reykjavik (55km?), and there is a fantastic Hot stream in the hills.

Iceland is beautiful! And September is a great time to visit, because the weather will still be nice, most things will still be open, but you won't be traveling during the peak of the tourist season.

I spent a month in Iceland in September 2009 and finally got around to creating this page on my Web site. Hope it helps!
