When you go into a show, even if the political bands, you see young people get drunk, getting high and forgetting So many times what it is or move the culture in which he is leading. Most young people end up putting the alcohol and drugs above all forgetting to do something for a better future, of course not all are like that, but most, some even destroy your life because this kind of thing, I decided to stop all that and take an active political life, against the state and the animal liberation front facing life without fear, over.
I hear you!
I smoked for literally no reason... I wasn't addicted to nicotine, just a dumb kid. And at 19 I started blacking out from getting drunk all the time.
Sometimes you don't learn from the first bad thing that happens to you, you have to realize when you're headed for the same place a second time.

Its a bit of a cycle, if you think about it.
You drink to deal with your problems and it just makes it worse.
Once you get out of that nonsense,
life isn't quite as hard as you thought it was.

Props to you all for knowing what's up.
Especially if you knew before you ever started :)
I wasted so much time back then.

But, it's been over 2 years, and it's all good around here.
I like being in control of my own life and I've never felt the need to give that up because of some substance or other. I don't intend to sound presumptious, since I know this isn't as easy for everyone. My decision to stay clean was helped by the fact that both my parents are absolutists, so we never had any booze at home. The first contact I had with alcohol was seeing alcoholists in the streets. Their talk was unitelligible and they smelled really bad. As a kid they used to scare me. Later on I observed people I knew turning into total idiots after a couple of bottles. That wasn't tempting at all. I couldn't help thinking how humiliating that was for them. So there's my story.
