Hello Maria! Greetings to our Southern neighbours! I have only been to Montreal for a few days, so I'm not too sure about the restaurants. I did go to a very eccentric vegan a couple years ago, where you have to finish everything on your plate to get the next course! The food was tastey and unique- very unique. The décor is funky and tacky- but in an amusing, whimsical way. The only problem is, I can't remember the name! But I'll try to find out for you.

By the wayu. I am thinking of visiting Montreal this summer. When I was last there over 10 years ago, I was vegetarian. Now I am vegan. HappyCow lists several vegan restaurants there. Are there any restaurants that people in this bboard would highly recommend ? Are there also any good vegan bakeries ? Thanks!!
