Comment by Frederick Dsouza on February 8, 2011 at 11:08am I am struggling to be 100% vegetarian and want to be 100% money free living according to the PAY IT FORWARD concept of The Freeconomy Community www.justfortheloveofit.org .
I don't find equal amount of vegetarian restaurant too in new york city. Restaurant owner makes more money on non-veg and waiters are advised to sell higher value items including wine so that they can also get a bigger tips. 15% to 25% of the total bill. As long as people do for money, these problems will never be solved as the businesses look for profit over anything else. 90% of the time I cook and eat at home. Some businesses don't even provide microwave or separate place to eat and just 30 minutes of lunch for 90% of the employees hence employees land up eating food which is unhealthy, malnourished, expensive ,little and without choice.
