I'm the only vegan in my ENTIRE family. One day, my dad, who's a mainstream doctor, told me that vegans are always hungry because they don't eat meats, and meats make you full. I'm like: If you eat a…Continue

Comment by Ricky Berrios on August 3, 2011 at 1:14pm So I just recently found out that my other two vegan friends both decided to just be vegetarians. This completely sucks because don't get me wrong most of my friends are vegetarians and its pretty awesome but now I am completely out of vegan friends. I still find myself sometimes arguing with some of my vegetarian friends about reasons why I don't eat dairy. OH WELL, it's not like them becoming vegetarians is going to affect my choice of being vegan. It's just weird because they both lived the vegan life style for so long that I personally can't ever imagine going back to dairy. One of them was the one who really helped me out becoming vegan. I guess knowing that I am really the only vegan I personally know it makes me love being vegan even more.

Comment by Diah Purnamasari on April 22, 2011 at 8:16pm I've been a vegan since I was 7 years old.
I stop ate fish when I was 6 years old, because I didn't like to see how my mom killed a fish that we catched from a river, when my parents took me to Borneo for holiday. She hit directly to the fish head with a stone, and that was shocked me, then I stop to eat fish since that day.
I stop ate meat when I was 7 years old, since my nanny took me to see animal slaughter event in a Islam holiday (Eid-ul Adha). I stop to eat meat since that day. I'm still a muslim, but I don't like animal slaughter event, and I chose to be a vegan till now.
So, all the reason is : I don't like to see how those animals die. I hate bloody scenes.
