Inspiring vegan & eco travel and promoting & encouraging local vegan movements
This group is for everyone and is a place where new vegans can come to find other vegans for support. For some, becoming vegan is easy; for others, it's not. A plant-based, cruelty-free diet is the way to go, so let's support each other.

Comment by Jacqueline Shukla on February 6, 2012 at 4:11pm Today I made some barbecued seitan for dinner. I served it on whole wheat buns. I made some maple coleslaw to go with it. It was easy and satisfying after a draining day!
Comment by Jacqueline Shukla on February 5, 2012 at 3:25pm I am a new vegan (one month and counting) in Lexington, KY. I feel all alone here (except for my daughter-in-law, who is also vegan). Are there any vegans in the area?
Comment by Amber Griffin on February 4, 2012 at 3:45pm If you've made it here, you're doing well. Keep exploring the internet vegan communities. Check out sites like http://www.theppk.com/ , and http://www.veganblogs.com/ and http://www.peta.org/ . Look up veganized recipes of your personal comfort food. Vegan mac & cheese did it for me, and I never looked back. Vegan living is so healthy and loving that you'll find the change exciting and invigorating!
Good luck!!!!

I am a Certified Holistic Health Coach and would love to support and guide anyone who is new to veganism or just wants to improve their current health state. I help those who are battling with a variety of conditions too. I know i struggled and had to do convert alone and it wasn't easy. I want to help you out so you don't struggle, get frustrated, or cheat.
