i agree with the posts below- and also after not having it for so long, i don't think i'd be able to consume dairy again...i just feel so much better without it and since i can get the necessary vitamins elsewhere, i'm anti-dairy for vegans...
Permalink Reply by Indigo on April 22, 2010 at 6:34pm Milk is acid forming to the body..plus..Isn't the definition of Vegan not using or consuming anything that is a byproduct of animals or animal itself..???? So by definiton any milk from an animal that humans consume would not be Vegan..I recommend nut milks or rice milk..Best milk in my opinion is almond milk since almonds are alkalizing to the body....
